Practice for the Christmas Program ... page 2

The
sheep gathered around the manger to learn about the special child that
was born on Christmas day. On the night of the program, we brought a
real baby to the manger.
The
angels appeared at that first Christmas night, so we let our own angels
tell their story of God's special promise. They made a wonderful
Christmas card.
Laura
introduced every scene by opening another card, adding some
observations about the people on her Christmas card list along the way.
As each scene changed, the stage was
rearranged by our very skilled crew of stage managers. They created the
Christmas card sets on the spot.
We
included a few very wise travellers who had come from miles away to see
the baby born in Bethlehem. |
They
came with a message, about a bright star in the sky and the promise
that God would give a new king to his people.
Christmas
is a great time for songs, so we let the kids lead some of the songs
that they knew. |
Gail
has worked as our Sunday School Superintendent for several years. She
brings great ideas to these programs and keeps them on track.
And there are still more pictures.
We proclaim to you what we have seen and
heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us.
And our fellowship is
with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ.
