Practice for the Christmas Program
Christmas
causes a buzz of anticipation every year in Sunday School. The
Christmas program gets everyone involved in telling the story of Jesus.
We
try to find parts in the program for everyone. This was a picture from
one of our rehearsals.
While
the children work on their parts during Sunday School, everything else
stops. That
gives our dads a little extra time for coffee and conversation.
But on stage, there is work to do. This is
Laura, our narrator. She led us through the story of God's great gift,
which we told through a series of Christmas cards on stage.
This
Christmas card has children in their PJs on Christmas Eve, reading
about a special star that came that first Christmas night.
This
isn't one of the Christmas cards. This is more activity in the church
foyer, featuring more coffee and more
conversation.
Back
on stage, a few of the youth are dressed as carolers to lead the
congregation in a song. |
Here
the sheep are gathered around the manger. Wait, there's a cow in there
somewhere.
And there are more pictures on the next page.
We proclaim to you what we have seen and
heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us.
And our fellowship is
with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ.
1 John 1:3
