special menu for this meal. Just soup, sandwiches, chili, and pie. But
there is always plenty of food, and it always tastes great! |

At
the bake sale, all special orders are kept by our highly trained and
motivated staff, which is better than a computer any day.
|
| These
people
are either bringing things in to sell or taking an order home for
themselves. I can't tell. Sometimes it all happens at the same time |
|
|
|
The
kitchen
gets so full of workers that you can't move, but somehow the work
always gets done. |
The tables
start out looking a bit empty, but they fill up quickly with both food
and people.

|
|
With
so many
friends and neighbors gathered together, there is a good chance that
the conversation will be as pleasant as the food. |
There's
a lot
of work to do and a lot of people milling around. So you might have to
find someplace quiet and out of the way, just to relax.

|
If
you can't
find something at the bake sale this year, you can come back next
harvest season. The tables will be filled with all new bargains.
