WHO ARE WE?
​
Komstad Covenant Church is part of the Evangelical Covenant Denomination (Click below for more info).
Our church was founded in 1885 by Scandinavian immigrants. Today we are one of the most ethnically diverse denominations in North America.
We are a fast growing denomination in the United States. We have more than 850 congregations throughout the U.S. and Canada. We are organized into 11 regions called conferences.
In addition we have global partnerships around the world in many foreign countries.
As we enter this month of June, our thoughts turn toward our 250th Anniversary Celebration as a Country!
While some would remind us of our failures, we must point out that God has had His Hand on these United States throughout our History!
This started when the Pilgrims sought the New World as a place of shelter in order to Worship God Freely!
It continued through our Revolution against British tyranny, forming a new Government Of, By and For the People. We were led by the courageous and Godly Father of our Country, George Washington. God led our Founding Fathers to create a Governing Document (our Constitution) unlike any that had ever been done! Most Constitutions only survive for an average of 17 years! Ours has lasted for almost 250 years, being formed on the Principals of the Declaration of Independence in 1776!
We further renewed our desire for"Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness", reaffirming that "all men are created equal" through the great testting of the Civil War. Abraham Lincoln reminded us that 'We are affirming a New Birth of Liberty."
We stood against Hitler, Japan and the Communist regimes of Russia and China, continuing to emphasize our beliefs in a Free People, a Free Market System of Economics, and a Passionate Worship of our Loving God and Savior Jesus Christ!
Multitudes have sought out the many blessings and opportunities for success that are offered on our shores! They are still coming by the millions every year! We are a Guiding Light in a Dark World!
Let us never forget our incredible blessings and our awesome responsibility to be the land the world can look to for Hope and Peace!
And yet we know: True Hope and Peace are only found in Jesus Christ!

SUNDAY WORSHIP:
Join us for Celebrative Worship Every Sunday @ 10:00 am!
Sunday School for Adults is @ 9 AM each week.
The Youth and Children's Sunday School programs are on summer break and will return in September.

We also offer a Nursery Room for parents and their children as needed.
