WHO ARE WE?

Komstad Covenant Church is part of the Evangelical Covenant Denomination (Click below for more info).
Our church was founded in 1885 by Scandinavian immigrants. Today we are one of the most ethnically diverse denominations in North America.
We are a fast growing denomination in the United States. We have more than 850 congregations throughout the U.S. and Canada. We are organized into 11 regions called conferences.
In addition we have global partnerships around the world in many foreign countries.
Welcome to October!
The Harvest Season is fully underway now! It's always a busy time for those who help take care of our country through farming! Thanks for all your hard work, folks!
Jesus also had something to say about farming and the Harvest. He stated, "The Harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the Harvest, to send forth laborers into His Harvest!" (Mt 9:37-38). What does God want to do in Beresford, South Dakota, Spiritually?
You're going to discover some exciting ways God can use you during this month of October! We'll be introducing the Greek Word: "Oikos".
It means "a group of 8 to 15 people with whom you share your life most closely." They are your circle of greatest influence. We're going to be talking about how you can pray for them and ask God to open doors to invite them to come to Church with you. You will be learning how to share your story about how God changed your life. And you will even learn how to lead them to Christ!
Everything kicks off next Sunday October 18th @ 9:00 am!
Rev. Nathan Pruett, Outreach Pastor @ Central Church in Sioux Falls, will be sharing in Adult Sunday School (9 am) and then in our Worship Service @ 10 am! Come and See What God is Doing here @ KCC! Invite a Friend or Family Member to come with you!

welcome everyone with God's love. These are Our Values:

* Relationship-Focused: We welcome Family, Friends and
Newcomers into our Loving Fellowship.

* Biblically-Based: We Build our Church and our Lives around
the Bible as our Source of Direction, Strength & Comfort.
Preaching, Teaching & Following Jesus are key parts of
walking out our Spiritual Journey.

* Team-Builders:
We are continually developing and training teams of people
to serve within the church and the community Together.

* Community-Connected: We are always seeking creative
practical ways to share the love of Jesus with the
people who live in our Community.

I (Pastor Dan) am halfway through my "Relational Wisdom" class!
This 8-week class is designed to launch us on a life-long journey to a God-centered, biblically-grounded way of treating others. I've learned so much already! Many Pastors and Church Members take this training to help
improve how we interact in all our relationships. I've been meeting on-line
with people from various parts of the United States! Very interesting!
My "Preaching Lab" class held their second monthly meeting Saturday October 3rd. We meet every month through June 2027. It's designed to
help a small group of pastors critique and encourage each other to become more effective in our preaching. We take turns sharing our study outlines
with the group at each gathering! It's an exciting way to learn together
about how to share God's Word! Please keep praying for me as I prepare
for these classes and attend with small groups of "cohorts" (Fellow Students).
This is part of how I walk out what it means to "be a lifelong learner."
Let me finish with this question: What are you planning to do this
Autumn to become a stronger Follower of Christ? How will you become a
better version of you? Summer's over....what will Autumn bring for you?
