The program contained some of the elements
of past Vacation Bible Schools, like the procession at the beginning
and the pledges of allegiance to the nation's flag, the Christian flag,
and the Bible.

After each pledge,
we sang a song.
These are three
things that we feel are important: country, church, and the Word of God.
A new group
of children led the program each day.
We had all ages together in one group,
which was great fun. The older kids looked out for the younger ones.

Our missions
offering will help children who can't afford school.

Mary played
keyboard for our songs, and she taught the crafts.
Diane shared some lessons from the Bible.
One day she brought a story ball, and we had to pull out
a
lot of yarn just to find all the characters in the story.

All the
children could help.

Our story
stretched all the way to the back of the church!
That must be your
color, because it looks just marvelous on you!

Your word is a lamp unto my feet and a
light to my path.
